An orientation session on “Patent Filing Procedure and Process Flow at Amrita” was successfully conducted as a joint initiative of the Research Committee and IQAC team at the Amaravati Campus on 13 February 2026 at 2:30 PM in online mode, the session aimed to create awareness among students, research scholars, and faculty about the importance of patents and the step-by-step patent filing process. The expert speaker, Ms. Salma Jetha, Director – Patents & Technology Licensing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, provided valuable insights into patent procedures, documentation, and the overall innovation support system at Amrita. The session was highly informative and encouraged participants to actively engage in research and intellectual property development.
