Institution’s Innovation Cell(IIC) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus, put forward conceptual agility and intellectual alacrity in organizing and taking part in the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell driven Orientation Session on IIC 8.0 Calendar & R&D Cell Activities for AY 2025–26 on 22nd October 2025 in which Prof TG Sitharam, Hon’ble Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, addressed the gathering.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted a department-level orientation for first-year students, addressed by Dr. Moparthy Nageswara Rao, Chairperson, CSE. Outgoing students who secured placements with top companies shared their experiences, inspiring the juniors with their success stories. The session also featured a motivational address by Dr. C. K. Jayashankar, Head of the Institution, encouraging students to pursue excellence and holistic development.

The Deep Dive into Gazebo Seminar organized by the Robotics Club provided an immersive, hands-on experience in advanced robotics, showcasing a critical tool for modern engineering. It provided a platform for students to explore the complexities of robot design and control in a virtual environment. The seminar aimed to equip participants with practical skills in Gazebo, fostering innovation and problem-solving abilities within the Amrita engineering community.
